There are a lot of new trends in the industry, not just for signs, but labels, packaging, digital printing where it comes out to the same thing: Automation, centralization! So if I’m a wide-format shop and am doing signs, and I have wide-format rolls and wide-format flats but I also do commercial prints and I have cut-sheet devices. At some point, I have so many different workflows, so many different systems, that I am losing time and wasting time by manually setting files to be print-ready. So, if I am doing signs, if I am doing stickers, even if I’m doing car wraps, which are sometimes pre-cut in the design file, I still need to manually work on these files. And everybody wants to do the same thing; do it faster because the customer wants it faster and the only way to achieve that is by automating. So, we are seeing the same trend here that we are seeing with traditional wide-format and we are seeing with traditional commercial shops, they want to centralize and automate the entire process to get print-ready files to the devices, print devices, cutting devices, finishing devices automatically, and that is what we are delivering.
You know, answering all those requirements in production from customers, with our tools.
We have software that will automate the generation of print-ready files, cutting files and embellishment files. Some of these applications will now get additional value by embellishment by adding spot-UV, spot-foil on the actual product, and we are generating all this. So we are providing software that will allow the customer to produce these automatically without any sort of intervention manually. That’s what customers are looking for at the end of the day. To automate their process to be able to produce more, and faster.
