Muller Martini integrates Impostrip® VDP imposition new capabilities as part of the Connex system to manage the entire manufacturing process from job submission to finished books or magazines, thus offering a better cost-effective solution for book-of-one and personalized magazines.
At drupa, Ultimate’ Impostrip® Scalable imposition will be used to show customers how PDF/VT imposition opens new possibilities in the field of industrial inkjet printing enabling dynamic imposition for variable data printing. Workflow is about data manipulation for printing and finishing processes. Today, digital printing is about using data to build products. The key element is the way the PDF data from upstream ordering system is handled to produce variable size and quantity copies and build the data with all personalized marks and barcoding for various purposes: tracking and finishing.
