macOS Catalina Compatibility
Ultimate Impostrip® (Pro and Automation) is compatible with Apple’s latest Mac update, macOS Catalina, the first version to support only 64-bit applications.
Upgrade to Ultimate Impostrip® 2019
Customers on Ultimate Impostrip® Legacy Mac who wish to upgrade their computer to the latest macOS Catalina will need to upgrade to the new generation of Ultimate Impostrip®. If you do not want to upgrade your imposition software to the latest version available, we recommend you to not update your Mac. Being 32-bit, the Legacy version of Ultimate Impostrip® will not be working on macOS Catalina.
Locate your non-64-bit Applications
Apple’s tool Spotlight Search can help you locate the 32-bit applications that will stop working on your Mac after upgrading to macOS Catalina. After opening the System Information Tool, scroll down to ”Software” and select ”Legacy software”. At the top of the window, you will find all the software that will become inoperable once you upgrade to macOS Catalina.
