BetterPDF takes the strain and reduces PDF file overhead on your DFE, so it has less to do and can work faster and more efficiently, which allows your press to work to its full potential. BetterPDF is optimized for print production, removing any overhead and non-print related functions.

Just like Ultimate Impostrip itself, BetterPDF is based on rock-solid Adobe PDF technology, combined with custom Ultimate development to optimize the functionality. It is built into Ultimate Impostrip for maximum productivity.

Scalability

Combined with Ultimate Impostrip(r) unique Job Manager, you can use multiple BetterPDF engines simultaneously to support a higher throughput. For maximum performance unlimited multiple BetterPDF engines can be utilized to handle the most challenging production needs.

Completely Automated

BetterPDF is an integrated part of Ultimate Impostrip and completely automated. It can be driven by Hot Folder, XML for Redirection or UICL.xml. It offers a more efficient total workflow processing time as the BetterPDF is streamlined with the imposition process.

Predictability

BetterPDF saves PDF files in the best possible manner in order to maximize print production and for Ultimate Impostrip® to increase processing imposition speed, as well as rip speeds of the subsequent printing process. The overall file through put is greatly improved with an average of 40% faster*.

*On average BetterPDF is quicker than preflight tools, however this is an average. Some exceptions may apply.

PDF processing speed is largely impacted based on the incoming PDF itself, and on the computer hardware you are using.
